Location: San Antonio, TX | Pay: $30.16/hr | Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM | Type: Full-Time, 12-Month Contract
PDS Tech Commercial, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Operations Analyst to join our team, partnering with a leader in the aerospace industry. In this vital role, you’ll play a key part in supporting aircraft production and modification operations by driving efficiency, resolving constraints, and ensuring schedules stay on track.
Your analytical mindset and problem-solving skills will help streamline manufacturing processes that support critical aerospace programs — making a direct impact on operational success and mission readiness.
Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production constraints and maintain workflow continuity.
Investigate and research parts, engineering details, and scheduling data to proactively identify and resolve issues.
Monitor and track constraints using systems such as the Ship Side Action Tracker (SAT).
Assist mechanics and technicians in understanding specifications and engineering drawings.
Support process improvement efforts by developing and implementing new procedures across the site.
Prepare and present proposals and project updates to leadership and production teams.
Contribute to tool procurement and modification, ensuring mechanics have the right equipment to perform effectively.
Coach and mentor team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, emotional intelligence, and open communication.
Required Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in manufacturing, maintenance, or modification of aircraft.
3+ years of experience using critical problem-solving methods and developing process improvements.
3+ years of experience accessing aircraft data and interpreting technical documentation.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint for reporting and presentations.
Strong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to lead discussions and drive results.
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with GOLD, I-GOLD, Vipers, NCM, or Ship Side Action Tracker (SAT) systems.
Background in project management or leadership roles within manufacturing operations.
Prior experience in a Line Side Control Center environment.
Knowledge of Depot-level or modification maintenance processes.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to walk frequently, climb stairs, and lift up to 35 lbs.
Regular and predictable attendance is required.
