Location: Phoenix, AZ 85034 | Pay: $20/hr | Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5:30 AM–2:00 PM | Type: Full-Time, 12-Month Contract
PDS Tech Commercial, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Electrical Assembler to join our team, partnering with a global leader in aerospace innovation. In this hands-on role, you’ll assemble, test, and inspect high-performance electro-mechanical systems that power some of the most advanced aircraft in the world. Your precision and craftsmanship will directly impact flight safety, reliability, and innovation.
Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications.
Perform mechanical and electrical assembly, testing, fabrication, and inspection on a variety of aerospace components.
Operate hand tools, power tools, measuring devices, and light machinery to build and test assemblies.
Conduct quality checks and identify any product defects, recording and reporting issues accurately.
Rework or repair equipment as needed based on engineering updates or inspection findings.
Maintain inventory levels and ensure efficient production flow in your workstation.
Follow strict safety and quality standards, keeping your workspace clean and compliant at all times.
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D. or vocational/technical education).
Minimum of 2 years of relevant assembly experience, ideally in an electrical or electro-mechanical setting.
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work safely around moving parts and electrical components.
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Preferred Qualifications:
IPC Class III Solder Certification or equivalent.
Previous electronic assembly experience within the aerospace or manufacturing industry.
Strong attention to detail and ability to read and interpret complex diagrams.
