Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)
Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain DoD clearance (active clearance preferred
Onsite: Full-time onsite; may require occasional travel, extended hours, or weekend support.

Summary:
Act as subject matter expert across aerospace vehicle systems (fuel, hydraulic, electrical, ECS, etc.)
Collaborate with design, quality, supply chain, EHS, and production teams
Provide producibility input to optimize design for manufacturability and cost efficiency
Develop 3D manufacturing simulations, perform clash detection, and sequence assembly tasks
Review and validate 3D engineering models for manufacturability and supplier performance
Create Manufacturing Engineering Statements of Work (SOW) and documentation
Support program startups, production processes, and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements:
Ability to obtain and maintain DoD clearance (active clearance preferred)
8+ years supporting aerospace vehicle systems (fuel, hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic, engines, testing)
8+ years in production operations and/or manufacturing engineering
8+ years providing design producibility input and shaping build strategy
5+ years CAD experience (CATIA V4/V5, 3DX preferred)
Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate
Experience with Atlassian Confluence, JIRA, Root Cause Analysis, and FMEA
Strong technical, problem-solving, and project management skills
Proven ability to plan and coordinate production work cells and facility layouts
Skilled in interpreting blueprints, process specifications, and developing work instructions
Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to convey technical data clearly
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
