Summary:
Designs, develops, and executes software test and verification processes to ensure quality, reliability, and functionality.
Collaborates with stakeholders to define requirements, objectives, and test strategies.
Leads development and optimization of tools, processes, and methodologies for CI/CD and software lifecycle efficiency.
Mentors junior engineers and collaborates across teams to achieve project goals.
Proficient in version control (Git), CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD), and testing frameworks (PyTest, JUnit, Selenium).
Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), configuration management (Ansible, Chef, Puppet), and monitoring tools (Prometheus, ELK).
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and artifact repositories (Nexus, Artifactory).
Familiar with automated testing, HIL integration, and use of AI tools in CI/CD development.
Creates and maintains detailed test plans, cases, and automated frameworks to validate performance and safety.
Configures and manages test environments, including Hardware-In-the-Loop (HIL) systems for avionics platforms.
Identifies, documents, and resolves software defects, providing feedback for continuous improvement.
Ensures compliance with privacy, security, and quality standards.
Supports cross-functional teams and contributes to project management activities.
Requirements:
Bachelor s degree and typically 3+ years of experience in a software engineering classification, or a Master s degree with 1+ year of related experience.
Must be able to work onsite in Cambridge, MA.
No relocation offered.
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
Preferred Qualifications:
Education or experience in modern CI/CD techniques and/or AI tool integration.
Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance if sponsored.
