Summary:
Designs, develops, documents, and implements Artificial Intelligence (AI) algorithms and models using standard methods and tools, while considering ethical implications and potential biases.
Utilizes AI tools to evaluate effectiveness in code generation and avionics applications. Collects, cleans, and analyzes large datasets to ensure data quality, identify patterns, and extract insights.
Tests, documents, and debugs AI models and software systems.
Trains, evaluates, and optimizes AI model performance.
Conducts Safety Risk Management processes in accordance with organizational standards. Integrates and deploys scalable AI models into production environments, monitoring and improving performance post-deployment.
Collaborates with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, gather feedback, and iterate models and algorithms.
Researches and applies emerging AI technologies, frameworks, and regulations to advance AI design practices.
Requirements (Level 3):
Bachelor s degree and typically 3+ years of experience in a software engineering role, or a Master s degree with 1+ year of experience.
Willingness to leverage AI tools and technologies to accelerate software development and testing.
Experience with C, C++, Python, or other modern programming languages.
Familiarity with ADA or avionics software is a plus.
Experience with AI frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch preferred.
Strong collaboration skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-tech environment.
Excellent documentation and communication abilities.
Must be able to work onsite in Cambridge, MA.
No relocation offered.
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
Preferred Qualifications:
Education or experience in AI algorithms and/or AI tools.
Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance if sponsored.
