Manufacturing Operations Planner - FLRAA
PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leader in the aviation industry to hire a Manufacturing Operations Planner – FLRAA in Amarillo, TX.
Pay Rate: $25 – $42/hour
Schedule: 1st Shift, 4x10s (Monday–Thursday, 6:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.)

As a Manufacturing Operations Planner, you’ll be the critical link between engineering and production—transforming complex aircraft designs into efficient, executable manufacturing plans.
Your work will directly impact the quality, accuracy, and success of advanced aviation programs, including the Future Long Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA). If you thrive in fast-paced, high-tech environments and love seeing your planning turn into real-world results, this is where you belong.
Develop detailed work instructions, tooling requirements, and production plans for both new and existing aircraft assemblies.
Incorporate and implement engineering changes in accordance with Bell systems, policies, and procedures.
Interrogate blueprints and digital product data (CAD, GD&T, etc.) to plan and support manufacturing operations.
Reconcile Engineering and Manufacturing Bills of Material (BOM) for accuracy and efficiency.
Collaborate with Change Management, Manufacturing, and Industrial Engineering teams to ensure seamless production flow.
Support tooling design reviews and evaluations to improve manufacturing processes.
Provide rapid, solutions-oriented support to the factory floor for timely execution of changes and redline corrections.
Identify opportunities for process and tooling improvements through root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required:
3–5 years of experience in Production or Manufacturing Planning.
Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and GD&T specifications.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes, tooling methodologies, and aircraft assembly operations.
Skilled in Bell ERP systems, ideally 3DX (Dassault), PEO (SAP), or SAP.
Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
Experience supporting aircraft manufacturing or MRB (Material Review Board) functions.
Demonstrated success working cross-functionally to drive efficiency and process excellence.
