Flightline Aircraft Mechanic
PDS Tech is seeking Associate or Experienced Flight Readiness Technicians to join the 787 Program Delivery Center Operations Team in North Charleston, South Carolina. In this role, you’ll provide critical production support to ensure aircraft safety, efficiency, and quality before delivery. Your expertise will help maintain Boeing’s reputation for excellence in aviation.
Perform flight test installations and aircraft functional testing.
Assist in troubleshooting pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and avionics systems to isolate and repair faults.
Conduct pre-flight and post-flight checks, maintenance, and modification actions.
Resolve issues identified during operation and testing of deliverable products.
Verify work accuracy and perform self-inspections.
Support system and sub-system pre-delivery inspections and aircraft maintenance.
Plan and schedule activities with guidance from leads; work reviewed for adequacy.
Exhibit Behaviors and uphold safety standards.
Ability to work any shift (days, nights, weekends).
Minimum 6 months of avionics and/or electrical experience.
Minimum 6 months experience with live aircraft systems and flight operations.
Knowledge of Foreign Object Debris (FOD) risk.
3+ years related work experience or equivalent education/experience.
FAA Airframe & Powerplant license.
Experience in Aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing.
Familiarity with Production System and 787 Program.
Experience with Field/Flight Line Operations.
Associate Level (B): High School diploma/GED plus 1+ years related experience or equivalent combination (vocational school/Associate degree).
