Summary:

Learn entry-level technical skills, regulatory requirements, and tooling used in aircraft cabinetmaking.

Develop proficiency in preparing and fabricating furniture using design drawings, laminates, veneers, and cap strips while following standard safety and operating procedures.

Utilize the material tracking system to create parts demand, track squawks, and sign off on completed work.

Comply with all safety, 5S, and housekeeping policies, using proper PPE and ensuring aircraft interiors are protected.

Assist in the development and implementation of related process improvements.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED required.

Woodworking, wood finishing, or auto body/painting experience in a technical environment preferred.

Completion of a Technical Certificate in cabinetmaking or a current-year youth apprenticeship program in a related field preferred.

Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Must be able to climb ladders/stairs, work in confined areas, lift up to 40 lbs, and work any shift.

Basic computer literacy required.

Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
