Location: Medley, FL 33178
Job Type: Full-Time | 6-Month Contract
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 1st Shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, 30-minute lunch)
Overtime: Saturday 6:00 AM – Noon (as needed, currently voluntary)
Pay Rate: $25.93 per hour

About the Role

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a Receiving Inspector to join our team in partnership with a world-class aerospace leader in Medley, FL. In this critical role, you’ll ensure that every part and assembly meets the highest standards of quality, safety, and precision before it takes flight. Your work directly impacts the reliability and performance of advanced aerospace systems trusted around the world.

What You’ll Do

• Perform incoming, first article, in-process, and final inspections following established procedures.

• Verify that internal assemblies and supplier products meet drawing, design, and workmanship requirements.

• Document inspection results and product discrepancies in accordance with company procedures.

• Use inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and surface plates to validate dimensions.

• Interpret technical data, including drawings, bills of material, and specifications.

• Conduct audits, SAP transactions, and recordkeeping to ensure compliance and traceability.

• Prioritize inspection activities to meet production and delivery schedules.

• Support multiple product lines and respond to quality and inspection inquiries.

• Maintain all required skills, certifications, and knowledge for the role.

What You’ll Bring

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.); vocational or technical training preferred.

• Minimum 1 year of relevant inspection or manufacturing experience.

• Familiarity with inspection methods, hand tools, and documentation practices.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret technical drawings.

• This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.                                               
   

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in the aerospace or precision manufacturing industry.

• Knowledge of SAP or similar enterprise systems for recording inspection data.

• Understanding of ISO or AS9100 quality systems and standards.
