Chipton-Ross is seeking a Project Manager for a contract opportunity in Palmdale, CA.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE): •Must have an an Active Secret Clearance 5 years experience running projects greater than $3 million in value. •5 years experience working projects and coordinating with cross functional teams including production operations (manufacturing teams, engineering teams, and quality). •Experience must include working projects in a manufacturing environment. •3 years experience working in JIRA and Microsoft project.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: •Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and production operations management. •Reviews status of projects; manages schedules and prepares status reports, assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. •Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project mangers, and production teams. • Managing cross functional projects across multiple teams and the program
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE): •PMP certification is preferred, but not required
REQUIRED EDUCATION: •Accredited BS degree in business or engineering required.
