Summary:
Configure and maintain test environments (hardware, software, network) replicating production systems.
Design and execute test plans, cases, and scenarios to verify software performance and safety.
Identify, document, and report defects, issues, and vulnerabilities.
Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to improve test efficiency.
Perform Hardware-In-the-Loop (HIL) automation and system-level testing for avionics platforms.
Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure testability and product quality.
Maintain all test documentation, metrics, and artifacts in compliance with security and data standards.
Requirements:
Bachelor s degree and 3+ years of software engineering experience, or Master s degree with 1+ year.
Proficient in NI TestStand, NI VeriStand, NI LabVIEW, or similar HIL platforms.
Hands-on experience with NI PXIe systems and hardware integration.
Strong programming skills in C/C++, Python, MATLAB, or similar.
Familiar with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Comfortable working with lab equipment and automated test environments.
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with HIL techniques, AI tools, or avionics display system verification.
Knowledge of avionics communication protocols (MIL-STD-1553, ARINC 429, CAN) is a plus.
Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance if sponsored.
