Summary:
Lead design and implementation of AI algorithms and models using industry-standard methods and tools.
Collect, clean, preprocess, and analyze large datasets to ensure quality and identify trends and insights.
Test, document, debug, and optimize AI models for performance and scalability.
Conduct safety risk assessments and ensure compliance with organizational standards.
Integrate AI solutions into production environments and monitor model performance post-deployment.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine AI models and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Research and implement emerging AI tools, frameworks, and technologies to enhance development efficiency.
Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers.
Requirements:
Ability to obtain a clearance
Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry.
Typically 5+ years of related experience (Master s +3 or PhD +1).
Strong proficiency in C, C++, or Python.
Hands-on experience with AI frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) preferred.
Must be able to work onsite in Cambridge, MA.
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
Preferred Qualifications
Experience or education in AI algorithms or AI tool development.
Familiarity with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Google Test, PyTest) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
Experience collaborating with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing teams.
Background in ADA or avionics software a plus.
Strong documentation and communication skills with a collaborative mindset.
