Job Details:
Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)
Shifts: Must be available for all shifts, including 4th shift rotation (1st, 2nd, and 3rd), as well as weekend and daily overtime as required.

Summary:
Apply broad knowledge of design and/or engineering principles to resolve complex product or process issues.
Lead technical investigations and develop both interim and final engineering solutions for nonconformances.
Conduct root cause analysis and develop corrective actions.
Develop and implement product/process improvements and innovative approaches to complex issues.
Analyze reported problems for potential safety concerns and manage resolutions.
Support design phases as a subject matter expert within Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and design reviews.
Represent engineering during build, production, and post-production stages.
Ensure supplier and build partner compliance with Boeing standards.
Develop customer communications to support safe operation and maintenance.
Lead on-site repair teams, accident investigations, and design of interim structural repairs, including static strength analysis.
Develop non-destructive test (NDT) procedures and ensure compliance.
Create and deliver technical training materials for internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
Bachelor s degree and typically 9+ years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., Master s + 7 years, PhD + 4 years).
Bachelor s degree in Aeronautical, Aerospace, Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, Systems Engineering, or Electrical Engineering Technology.
5+ years of experience designing structural and electrical rework/repairs to restore aircraft or systems to original design capability.
Previous Commercial Material Review (MRB) experience or airline operations.
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
Preferred Qualifications:
8+ years of experience with avionics systems troubleshooting, wire bundle installations, and aircraft electrical systems.
Proficiency in reading and creating engineering drawings, specifications, and design manuals.
Experience performing root cause analysis and developing dispositions for non-conformances.
5+ years of experience identifying and implementing product or process improvements.
MRB/UPR approval authority certification.
Experience with executive interior installations/design and wide-body aircraft modification and repair.
ABET accreditation preferred, but not required.
