Summary:
PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a global aerospace leader to hire a DevSecOps Software Engineer who’s ready to drive the next era of software excellence in flight technology. In this full-time, onsite role, you’ll be at the center of a pioneering initiative integrating CI/CD pipelines, AI tools, and secure development practices—ensuring the highest standards of performance, safety, and innovation.
What You’ll Do:
As a DevSecOps Software Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, automating, and securing the software development lifecycle for safety-critical aerospace systems. Your work will directly impact how advanced software supports flight innovation, reliability, and compliance.
You will:
Design, develop, and verify software products to ensure quality, reliability, and security.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous integration, delivery, and deployment of mission-critical systems.
Create and manage test environments, replicating production conditions for software validation.
Automate testing and verification processes, leveraging modern frameworks (e.g., PyTest, JUnit, Selenium).
Collaborate across disciplines, integrating software with Hardware-In-the-Loop (HIL) systems for real-time testing.
Implement containerization, configuration, and monitoring tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, and Prometheus.
Lead process improvements, standardizing development workflows and performance metrics.
Leverage AI tools to enhance pipeline efficiency and testing capabilities.
Identify and resolve software defects and vulnerabilities, ensuring secure and stable deployments.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of software engineering experience, or a Master’s degree with 1+ year of experience.
Hands-on experience with DevSecOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, and automation frameworks.
Strong knowledge of version control (Git, GitLab, GitHub) and testing frameworks.
Ability to work fully onsite in Cambridge, MA.
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Preferred Qualifications:
Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, or GitLab CI/CD.
Experience with Ansible, Chef, or Puppet for configuration management.
Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus or ELK Stack.
Exposure to AI-driven development tools and modern automation systems.
Must be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance.
Experience in aerospace, defense, or other safety-critical systems environments.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Work Structure: 9x80 schedule (alternating Fridays off)
