Summary:
PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a global aerospace leader to hire a DevSecOps Software Engineer who’s ready to drive the next era of software excellence in flight technology. In this full-time, onsite role, you’ll be at the center of a pioneering initiative integrating CI/CD pipelines, AI tools, and secure development practices—ensuring the highest standards of performance, safety, and innovation.

What You’ll Do:
As a DevSecOps Software Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, automating, and securing the software development lifecycle for safety-critical aerospace systems. Your work will directly impact how advanced software supports flight innovation, reliability, and compliance.
You will:

• Design, develop, and verify software products to ensure quality, reliability, and security.

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous integration, delivery, and deployment of mission-critical systems.

• Create and manage test environments, replicating production conditions for software validation.

• Automate testing and verification processes, leveraging modern frameworks (e.g., PyTest, JUnit, Selenium).

• Collaborate across disciplines, integrating software with Hardware-In-the-Loop (HIL) systems for real-time testing.

• Implement containerization, configuration, and monitoring tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, and Prometheus.

• Lead process improvements, standardizing development workflows and performance metrics.

• Leverage AI tools to enhance pipeline efficiency and testing capabilities.

• Identify and resolve software defects and vulnerabilities, ensuring secure and stable deployments.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of software engineering experience, or a Master’s degree with 1+ year of experience.

• Hands-on experience with DevSecOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, and automation frameworks.

• Strong knowledge of version control (Git, GitLab, GitHub) and testing frameworks.

• Ability to work fully onsite in Cambridge, MA.

• This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.                                               
   

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, or GitLab CI/CD.

• Experience with Ansible, Chef, or Puppet for configuration management.

• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus or ELK Stack.

• Exposure to AI-driven development tools and modern automation systems.

• Must be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance.

• Experience in aerospace, defense, or other safety-critical systems environments.
