Summary:
PDS Tech Commercial, in partnership with a global aerospace leader, is seeking a Software Engineer-Developer to help shape the next generation of aerospace technology. In this full-time, onsite role, you’ll contribute to a groundbreaking software initiative integrating CI/CD pipelines and AI tools—driving innovation, reliability, and performance across mission-critical systems.

What You’ll Do:
As a key member of a cross-functional engineering team, you will:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain non-embedded software solutions that meet industry and customer standards.

• Translate complex requirements into efficient, scalable software architectures.

• Develop, enhance, and optimize software integrations and product functionalities.

• Debug and resolve software issues, ensuring product reliability and performance.

• Implement emerging technologies and tools to improve software efficiency and innovation.

• Collaborate with engineers, stakeholders, and users to ensure technical excellence and alignment with project goals.

• Monitor and improve software processes, tools, and key performance metrics to meet organizational and regulatory standards.

• Provide technical leadership and guidance in areas such as AI tool integration, system-specific issues, and compliance.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of experience in software engineering, or Master’s degree with 1+ year of experience.

• Proficiency in software development lifecycle management and modern development tools.

• Ability to work fully onsite in Cambridge, MA.

• This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.                                               
   

Preferred:

• Education or experience in Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) systems and/or AI tools.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Must be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance.

• Previous experience in aerospace or defense software systems is a plus.

Position Details:

• Job Type: Full-Time, 12-Month Contract (Consultant)

• Location: Cambridge, MA (Fully Onsite)

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM

• Pay Rate: $65–$75 per hour

• Work Schedule: Follows 9x80 model (alternating Fridays off)
