Summary:
PDS Tech Commercial, in partnership with a global aerospace leader, is seeking a Software Engineer-Developer to help shape the next generation of aerospace technology. In this full-time, onsite role, you’ll contribute to a groundbreaking software initiative integrating CI/CD pipelines and AI tools—driving innovation, reliability, and performance across mission-critical systems.
What You’ll Do:
As a key member of a cross-functional engineering team, you will:
Design, develop, test, and maintain non-embedded software solutions that meet industry and customer standards.
Translate complex requirements into efficient, scalable software architectures.
Develop, enhance, and optimize software integrations and product functionalities.
Debug and resolve software issues, ensuring product reliability and performance.
Implement emerging technologies and tools to improve software efficiency and innovation.
Collaborate with engineers, stakeholders, and users to ensure technical excellence and alignment with project goals.
Monitor and improve software processes, tools, and key performance metrics to meet organizational and regulatory standards.
Provide technical leadership and guidance in areas such as AI tool integration, system-specific issues, and compliance.
Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of experience in software engineering, or Master’s degree with 1+ year of experience.
Proficiency in software development lifecycle management and modern development tools.
Ability to work fully onsite in Cambridge, MA.
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Preferred:
Education or experience in Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) systems and/or AI tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Must be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance.
Previous experience in aerospace or defense software systems is a plus.

Position Details:
Job Type: Full-Time, 12-Month Contract (Consultant)
Location: Cambridge, MA (Fully Onsite)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $65–$75 per hour
Work Schedule: Follows 9x80 model (alternating Fridays off)
