Schedule: Monday to Friday; First Shift (9/80A)
Starting Pay : $68.01per hour
PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a Parts, Materials, and Processes Engineer to support our partner—an industry leader in aerospace innovation. In this high-impact role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring the materials, parts, and processes used in advanced systems meet the highest standards of performance, reliability, and safety. Your expertise will help shape technologies that define the future of flight and defense.
As a Parts, Materials, and Processes Engineer, you will:
Review engineering designs for compliance with material and process system-level requirements.
Develop and maintain accurate bills of materials (BOMs) using information from engineering designs and planning systems.
Perform analysis, design, and testing of materials, structural components, and functional systems.
Apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles to ensure precision and performance.
Design and develop test programs to evaluate materials, structures, and system components.
Collaborate across disciplines to support compliance, design validation, and material qualification activities.
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with 2+ years of experience, or a Master’s/PhD in a STEM field.
Proficiency in at least one programming language: MATLAB, Python, C, or C++.
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Preferred:
Experience with NX or other CAD tools.
Training and proficiency in GD&T.
Ability to present complex technical information to peers and leadership.
Familiarity with Linux, Matlab, and Python environments.
Understanding of corrosion principles, material characterization, and qualification testing.
Experience performing material and process requirement and drawing reviews.
