Coordinate, schedule, and keep production moving. At PDS Tech Commercial, we’re seeking an experienced Planner to manage the flow of hardware and materials through fabrication, assembly, test, and shipment. Your expertise ensures timely delivery and accuracy for complex, multi-level programs.
About the Role
As a Planner, you’ll generate schedules, track work in progress, and manage bills of materials for new product introductions. You’ll coordinate procurement of long-lead items, monitor kits through operations and inspections, and resolve production issues to keep projects on track.
What You’ll Do
- Generate schedules, flow sheets, and tools for tracking WIP.
- Manage bills of materials and coordinate procurement for new product introductions.
- Monitor kits through routing operations and QA inspections; expedite as needed.
- Issue and manage kit splits, scraps, and regenerations.
- Ensure accurate generation of pick lists, travelers, packing slips, and shipping paperwork.
- Provide drawings, instructions, and maintain configuration control of production hardware.
- Perform Traveler Change Orders (TCO) and Engineering Change Orders (ECO).
- Participate in safety training and comply with safety practices.
- Support Lean/Six Sigma activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate in team meetings and SET team support.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related field.
- 3 years of experience in an ERP environment in production control, materials, scheduling, and/or manufacturing.
- Experience with Windows-based software (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
- 1–2 years of experience with SAP.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
- 5 years of experience in production control or materials management, with at least 3 years in PC or materials management.

Pay Details: $45.00 per hour
