 PAY RATE: $60/hour

Job Details:
Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)
Clearance: Active Secret clearance required to start.
Hybrid: Telework less than 50%; contractor required to work 3 days on-site with the option for 1 day remote.

Summary:
Research component termination styles, plastic encapsulation methods, and component construction processes.
Generate Vendor Identification Drawings (VIDs), Source Control Drawings (SCDs), and Altered Item Drawings (AIDs).
Lead component part standardization and part selection processes.
Manage Part Bill of Materials (BOM) in PTC Windchill, process change notices, and maintain engineering BOM per LM processes.
Develop and execute component qualification test plans with test houses.
Create component screenings as directed by the Parts Management Process (PMP) plan.
Interface with customers to present part changes and hardware impacts.
Lead component failure investigations and conduct failure analysis.
Participate in qualifying alternate test houses for part finish mitigations and qualifications.
Research and assess the impact of Product Change Notices (PCNs) and obsolescence on programs.
Review parts in Siemens Expedition Library for approvals per PMP guidelines.
Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers.
Requirements:
Active Secret clearance required to start.
Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology.
2 5 years experience with PTC Windchill for BOM maintenance.
2 5 years experience with Siemens Expedition Cockpit.
2 5 years experience with RF component selection.
2 5 years experience in part qualification and failure analysis.
2 5 years demonstrated knowledge of military standards and automotive electronics standards.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Leadership and mentorship capabilities.
Analytical thinking for part qualification and issue resolution.
Attention to detail in BOM and documentation processes.
Ability to collaborate effectively across engineering and customer interfaces.
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
