Summary:

Develop and maintain NIFI data flows for XML parsing and XML file generation based on XSDs.

Collaborate with teams to integrate XML data into SAP HANA databases, ensuring data integrity and pipeline performance.

Optimize data workflows and troubleshoot performance issues related to HANA.

Manage and transform large volumes of data efficiently within HANA databases.

Provide guidance on best practices for data management and system integration.

Utilize Java and Python to develop custom data transformations or utilities as needed.

Collaborate with engineers to create and optimize Informatica, Oracle, and BODS workflows (training provided for Informatica flows).

Maintain thorough documentation of data flows, processes, and integrations.

Requirements:

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Proven experience with NIFI, specifically for XML parsing and XML file generation using XSDs.

Strong hands-on experience with SAP HANA databases.

Proficiency in Java or Python for scripting and data manipulation.

Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills; able to optimize data flows and workflows.

Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Experience with Informatica (INFA flows), Oracle, and BODS is a plus.

Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and tools in the data engineering space.

Previous experience as a data engineer or in a similar technical role is highly preferred.

Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
