Loads and Dynamics Engineer
Pay: $55.80–$127.30/hour
Schedule: Day Shift | Hybrid (2 days/week onsite)

As a Loads and Dynamics Engineer, you’ll play a vital role in defining how aircraft respond to real-world forces. You’ll apply advanced analytical techniques and simulation tools to ensure every structure, surface, and system performs flawlessly under pressure. This position blends deep technical expertise with collaboration across flight, systems, and structural engineering disciplines—making your work central to every phase of development and certification.
Conduct aeroelastic and dynamic loads analyses to support new designs and ongoing aircraft programs.
Perform simulations and computations to define airframe design loads and ensure regulatory compliance.
Use and maintain finite element models (FEM) to support structural integrity assessments.
Collaborate with Flight Characteristics, Systems, Structures, and Test teams to solve complex engineering challenges.
Support landing gear development, flight testing, and in-service troubleshooting.
Verify and validate analytical results with engineering judgment and precision.
Prepare technical reports, documentation, and certification materials in English.
Required:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering.
8+ years of experience in external loads analysis within the aerospace industry.
Expertise in static and dynamic aeroelastic analysis and FAR 25 certification standards.
Strong command of Matlab, Python, Fortran, C/C++, and Linux/Windows scripting.
Proven ability to develop FEM models, perform flutter and aeroservoelastic analyses, and interpret test results.
Hands-on experience using Nastran for dynamic/aeroelastic work (DMAP familiarity a plus).
Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred:
ITAR eligibility and working knowledge of French (asset).
Previous experience supporting flight test or in-service engineering.
