Chipton-Ross is seeking multiple Test Engineers for a contract opportunity in Orlando, FL.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE): •Must have an active secret clearance •4-6 years of experience with software development (C, •C++, LabVIEW preferred) •4-6 years of experience in production environments •6+ years of experience in test equipment design •6+ years of experience in electronic testing •6+ years of experience in mechanical testing •Strong problem-solving and analytical skills •Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines •Must be able to read and write English •Must pass a medical exam as outlined in the supplier guide
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: •Plan, implement, test, document, and maintain solutions for integration and testing of in-house and COTS/GOTS components •Translate customer requirements into system test solutions considering technical, schedule, and cost constraints •Establish functional and technical specifications and standards •Solve hardware/software interface problems and define input/output parameters •Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, procedures, and schedules for complete systems and subsystems •Coordinate subsystem/system testing activities with programs and other organizations •Analyze test results and prepare evaluation reports to verify and validate system performance •Write discrepancy reports and perform integration regression testing to validate fixes
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE): •Experience with LabVIEW/LabWindows CVI and NI tools for development and maintenance of complex systems •Proficiency in C/C++ with ATE hardware integration expertise (switches, VXI/PXI chassis, EO testing, automation) •Experience with automated test equipment development/maintenance in high-volume production environments •Background in electro-optic sensor solutions for military platforms
REQUIRED EDUCATION: •Accredited Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline
