PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a global aerospace leader to find a highly skilled TIG Welder who’s ready to put their precision craftsmanship to work on industry-defining projects. In this hands-on role, you’ll help fabricate, assemble, and repair complex metal components that meet the highest aerospace standards—directly contributing to the safety and performance of aircraft around the world.

What You’ll Do

As a Welder, you’ll be an integral part of the production team, ensuring that every weld meets exacting quality and safety specifications. Your day-to-day work will include:

• Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and measurements to plan layout and procedures.

• Setting up and preparing components for welding according to technical specifications.

• Operating TIG welding equipment to fuse metals with precision and consistency.

• Inspecting completed welds for strength, quality, and adherence to safety standards.

• Performing cutting, grinding, and shaping of metal parts as needed.

• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workspace.

• Collaborating closely with team members to ensure timely project completion.

• Welding thin-wall tubing (.062 to .016 thickness) on materials ranging from 2-inch to ¼-inch O.D.

What You’ll Bring

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a TIG Welder or in a similar fabrication role.

• Proficiency in TIG welding techniques and equipment operation.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.

• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

• Must bring your weld helmet and wear steel-toed shoes for the on-site interview and short weld test.
  
  This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.                                               
   

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with metal fabrication tools, fixtures, and machinery.

• Strong understanding of welding safety standards and best practices.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
