PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced FAIR Specialist to support aerospace quality assurance operations. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) and a deep understanding of AS9102 standards.
What You’ll Do
As a FAIR Specialist, you will:
- Prepare and submit First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) in accordance with AS9102 guidelines.
- Review engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing teams, and suppliers to gather documentation and ensure compliance.
- Conduct inspections, measurements, and testing of components to verify conformance to aerospace standards.
- Document inspection results and develop corrective action plans for nonconformances.
- Monitor compliance with quality management systems and AS9102 regulations.
- Participate in audits, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in aerospace quality assurance, specifically in First Article Inspection processes.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
- AS9102 Auditor Certification.
- Quality Management System Auditing Certification (e.g., ISO 9001).
- Familiarity with Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or other quality methodologies.

Pay Details: $30.16 per hour
