About the Role

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a Quality Inspector to join our team, partnering with a global leader in the aerospace industry. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in the production of advanced aircraft systems. Your work will directly support the delivery of world-class aerospace components that meet exacting standards for performance and precision.

What You’ll Do

• Perform detailed mechanical and cosmetic inspections on parts and assemblies.

• Conduct quality control activities, including inspection for new product introductions.

• Inspect incoming goods, returned materials, and assembled products to ensure compliance with specifications.

• Document non-conformances, maintain inspection records, and escalate major quality issues to leadership.

• Perform First Article Inspections (FAI) and verify that all manufacturing and quality processes meet established standards.

What You’ll Bring

Required Qualifications:

• Proven inspection experience in a manufacturing or production environment.

• Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to precision.

• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.

• Familiarity with quality tools and methodologies, including 8D reporting, 5 Whys, and corrective action reports.
  
  This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
