Assembly and Integration Design Engineer
PDS Tech Commercial is hiring a highly skilled Assembly & Integration Design Engineer to join our client—a global pioneer in the aviation industry pushing the boundaries of flight innovation. As a key member of the engineering team, you’ll support the design, development, and release of critical subsystems—from environmental controls to hydraulics and mechanical systems—ensuring every detail meets exacting industry standards.
Core Responsibilities:
Design and release engineering data for aircraft subsystems and components
Create detailed 2D/3D model-based definitions, including assembly and installation data
Develop and validate structural provisions and bracket designs through research and analysis
Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to solve complex design challenges
Lead or mentor team members while managing deliverables to cost, schedule, and quality goals
Support suppliers and partner teams through the integration and certification process
Maintain compliance with all customer, regulatory, and Design Best Practices
5+ years of aerospace or equivalent industry design experience
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or related Engineering field (or equivalent experience)
Expertise in GD&T and general part sizing
Experience with CATIA V5, CATIA V6, or 3DEXPERIENCE preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Strong communicator with proven ability to lead, coordinate, and collaborate across teams
