Schedule: Full-Time, 2nd Shift (1:30 PM–10:00 PM or 2:30 PM–11:00 PM, Monday–Friday; OT as needed)
Pay Rate: $21.00/hour (includes $1.00 shift differential)
Assignment: 12-Month Consultant Role
 

About the Role

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a Powder Coating Technician to join our team, partnering with a leader in the aerospace industry. This entry-level position plays a critical role in producing top-quality aircraft seating components. You’ll gain hands-on experience in a high-performance environment where precision, teamwork, and safety drive success.

What You’ll Do

• Operate powder coating equipment efficiently and safely under supervision.

• Follow work orders and standard procedures to complete coating tasks.

• Inspect coated parts to meet quality standards and specifications.

• Support inventory management by ensuring materials and supplies are available.

• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and adhere to all safety protocols.

• Collaborate with team members to improve processes and promote a culture of continuous improvement.

• Be available for overtime as needed to meet production goals.

What You’ll Bring

Required:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• 0–1 year of experience in a powder coating or manufacturing environment

• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods

• Basic mechanical aptitude and computer skills

• Ability to read and understand work instructions and engineering drawings

• Commitment to wearing PPE and following safety protocols
  
  This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.                                               
   

Preferred:

• Familiarity with masking, hanging, coating, and inspecting parts

• Team-oriented mindset with a proactive attitude toward learning and cross-training
