Summary:
Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to ensure quality standards and product requirements are achieved.
Verify supplier contract requirements are implemented and maintained.
Perform source inspections (in-process and final), first article inspections, manufacturing process validations, surveillance, and special process audits.
Provide internal and supplier support for root cause, corrective, and preventive actions related to supplier discrepancies.
Support supplier failure investigations and ensure control of nonconforming items.
Conduct analyses and monitor effectiveness of corrective actions at supplier sites.
Monitor quality control activities and systems at supplier facilities and maintain communication loops with key stakeholders.
Work flexible hours and travel across the U.S. to support suppliers.
Drive continuous improvement and risk reduction through proactive engagement and problem-solving.
Requirements:
Bachelor s degree or higher in a technical or engineering field from an accredited institution.
6+ years of experience in each of the following areas:
Electronics
Supplier Management
Supplier Quality
Supply Chain
Quality Assurance / Quality Control
Quality Management Systems (QMS)
Relationship Building and Team Collaboration
Electrical Testing
Aerospace industry experience with electronics manufacturing and testing.
Hands-on experience with complex machined parts, electrical, and electronic assemblies.
Strong understanding of supplier management and interface practices to support production programs.
Knowledge of MFC SAP and Procure to Pay (P2P) business systems.
ASQ Certification(s) preferred:
Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)
Certified Quality Auditor (CQA)
Certified Quality Improvement Associate (CQIA)
Proven leadership and customer relationship management skills.
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
