JOB TITLE: Structural / Mechanical / Electrical Assembly Technician
LOCATION: Layton, UT
PAY RATE: $26-27/hour

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

Perform production assembly operations on structural, mechanical, and electrical systems.

Obtain and maintain all required certifications.

Use a computer in a production environment.

Read and interpret technical work instructions, drawings, and specifications.

Use various hand and power tools (e.g., screwdrivers, ratchets, torque tools, crimpers, multimeters).

Perform self-inspection of work for quality and check for Foreign Object Debris (FOD).

Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE.

Carry/lift up to 35 pounds and perform physical activities such as kneeling, bending, standing, and walking.

Requirements:

High school diploma, GED, or technical certification required.

Ability to read schematics and engineering drawings.

Experience using digital multimeters (DMMs).

Proficiency in Excel, wiring, and soldering.

Basic understanding of mechanical principles and hand tools.

Strong attention to detail, safety, and compliance.

Ability to read from computer screens, printed drawings, or technical documents.

Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

Preferred Skills:

Additional experience in wiring, soldering, and use of DMMs.

Familiarity with lean manufacturing and aerospace assembly processes.

Experience working in a regulated production environment
