ChiptonRoss is seeking an Inspector for a contract opportunity in Oldsmar, FL.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE): •Must be able to work under a microscope for long periods of time (up to 10Hrs) Must be able to sit at work station for long periods of time •Must have prior experience either in inspection visually inspecting solder connections or as an assembly build operator with experience on circuit card assemblies in accordance with IPCA610 & IPCJSTD001 requirements. •Minimum 2 year solder/visual Inspection experience, or in lieu of quality inspection minimum 2 years manufacturing/soldering experience of Electronic Assemblies. •Minimum 1 year conformal coating experience • Must be detailed and Quality and process oriented, proficient at interpreting drawings, diagrams, parts lists, navigating and understanding IPC standards, revision control, reference documents and work instructions. •Team player with strong verbal and written communication skills Proficient with Personal Computers. Interfaces effectively and diplomatically with all levels of manufacturing when addressing quality defects.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: •Uses predetermined methods, inspection operations and prescribed specifications to visually inspect solder and conformal coating of circuit card assemblies IAW•IPC-A-610 & IPC-J-STD-001 requirements. Role will incorporate use of drawings and written •inspection instructions. •Use of various measuring devices (dial indicators, preset micrometers, scales, etc) to 100% visually inspect circuit card assemblies to manufacturing and industry specifications including IPC and related reference documents and standards.
