Pay Rate: $16.66–$20.00 per hour

PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a global leader in the aerospace industry to hire a Shipping/Receiving Specialist who will play a vital role in ensuring the accurate and timely flow of materials. In this fast-paced role, you’ll help keep essential parts, equipment, and supplies moving—supporting critical aerospace production and innovation.

Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will help maintain the integrity of every shipment that passes through your hands.

What You’ll Do

• Verify identification and inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and damage.

• Process and confirm receipt/shipping documentation for both internal and external customers.

• Handle hazardous materials safely in compliance with DOT regulations.

• Review and validate Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for all chemical shipments.

• Maintain an organized inventory of shipping and packing supplies.

• Operate safely in a warehouse environment, adhering to all PPE and procedural standards.

What You’ll Bring

Required Qualifications:

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.

• Experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations.

• Strong attention to detail, organization, and safety awareness.

• Must wear steel-toe or composite safety footwear.
  
  This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.                                               
   

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience handling hazardous materials and knowledge of DOT shipping requirements.

• Prior experience in aerospace or manufacturing environments.

• Familiarity with inventory tracking systems or warehouse management software.
