PDS Tech Commercial is seeking skilled Assembly Technicians to support our client, a trailblazer in aerospace manufacturing. As an Assembly Technician, you’ll be on the front lines of building advanced aircraft and spacecraft components. Your work will directly impact the performance, safety, and reliability of groundbreaking aerospace products. 

 
What You’ll Be Doing: 

• Assemble precision components using hand and power tools including drills, reamers, countersinks, and spot face tools 

• Install press fit and force fit bushings with accuracy and care 

• Perform aircraft and spacecraft assembly operations on a variety of parts and systems 

• Conduct bench top assemblies, with or without jigs and fixtures 

• Trim, shim, and remove surface defects to meet strict quality standards 

• Handle a variety of aircraft fasteners such as rivets, pull rivets, and hi-loks 

• Apply aircraft sealants with precision (minimum 1 year of experience required) 

• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accuracy 

• Use general metrology tools to verify tolerances and quality 

What We’re Looking For: 

Required Qualifications: 

• 2+ years of assembly experience in a manufacturing setting 

• Experience with sheet metal assemblies, drilling, countersinking, riveting, and fastener installation 

• Ability to read blueprints and follow technical instructions 

• Skilled with general metrology tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.) 

• Detail-oriented, quality-focused, and self-motivated 

• Solid problem-solving abilities 

• Familiarity with various aircraft fasteners 

• 1+ year of aircraft sealer application experience 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Previous aircraft or aerospace assembly experience 

• Understanding of aerospace manufacturing standards and procedures
