Degreed Systems Engineer (HW/SW Integration)- 2ND SHIFT

Roles & Responsibilities:

Systems Engineer will be responsible for supporting system-level hardware qualification testing.
Looking for second shift support in our ETL SIL. These responsibilities will include:
• Operate system bench and execute qualification test procedures for Environmental, EMI, and Electrical Power Testing
• Troubleshooting hardware failures specifically with Environmental, EMI and Electrical Power testing conditions.
• Rigorous I&T processes & procedures
• Effective communication with team leadership and multi-disciplinary teams
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate internally and external team members
• Ability to communicate test failures and support troubleshooting effort
• Process/analyze data to generate qualification report SDRLs (supplier data requirement list)
• Compile data and define changes required in test equipment, test procedures, or new test requirements.
• Support test environment stand up at ETL and maintain interface documentation
• Interface with hardware and systems engineers in support of troubleshooting and verification.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in STEM discipline with 5 years of engineering experience in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or related technical fields OR
• Master's degree in STEM discipline with 3 years of engineering experience in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or related technical fields OR
• An additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Knowledge and experience with systems hardware
• Candidate must have the ability to obtain and maintain a US Govt. DoD Secret Clearance with special access prior to start date.
• Experience troubleshooting and resolving complex hardware integration issues
- Familiarity with executing MATLAB scripts
- Troubleshooting system hardware and software configurations

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience writing and running MATLAB scripts in MATE (MATLAB Automated Test Environment).
• Experience executing formal test procedures in a lab environment
• Experience with RF Hardware and test equipment
• Experience with Environmental, EMI/EMC integration and testing
