PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a Systems Assembly Technician to join our team, partnering with a global leader in the aerospace industry. In this hands-on role, you’ll play an essential part in assembling and integrating complex systems that power some of the most advanced aircraft in the world. Your precision, problem-solving, and commitment to quality will directly impact aerospace performance and safety.

What You’ll Do

• Perform mechanical and electrical assembly operations on structural components, subassemblies, and systems.

• Identify parts, tooling, and interpret detailed engineering drawings and specifications.

• Use hand and power tools, including screwdrivers, ratchets, crimpers, torque tools, and multimeters.

• Inspect work for quality, ensure compliance with procedures, and maintain a clean, organized workspace.

• Follow safety standards and wear appropriate personal protective equipment.

• Utilize computer systems to read work instructions and record production data.

• Perform physical tasks such as standing, kneeling, bending, and lifting up to 35 pounds as part of daily assembly operations.

What You’ll Bring

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED (or technical equivalent).

• Basic understanding of hand tools and mechanical systems.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to procedural accuracy.

• Ability to work safely and effectively in a production environment.
  
  This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.                                               
   

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability to read and interpret schematics and engineering drawings.

• Experience using digital multimeters (DMMs), wiring, soldering, or Excel.
