Schedule: Monday–Friday | 1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Job Type: Full-time | 12-Month Contract
Starting Pay Rate: $22.53 per hour
PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a Systems Assembly Technician to join our team, partnering with a global leader in the aerospace industry. In this hands-on role, you’ll play an essential part in assembling and integrating complex systems that power some of the most advanced aircraft in the world. Your precision, problem-solving, and commitment to quality will directly impact aerospace performance and safety.
Perform mechanical and electrical assembly operations on structural components, subassemblies, and systems.
Identify parts, tooling, and interpret detailed engineering drawings and specifications.
Use hand and power tools, including screwdrivers, ratchets, crimpers, torque tools, and multimeters.
Inspect work for quality, ensure compliance with procedures, and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
Follow safety standards and wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
Utilize computer systems to read work instructions and record production data.
Perform physical tasks such as standing, kneeling, bending, and lifting up to 35 pounds as part of daily assembly operations.
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED (or technical equivalent).
Basic understanding of hand tools and mechanical systems.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to procedural accuracy.
Ability to work safely and effectively in a production environment.
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to read and interpret schematics and engineering drawings.
Experience using digital multimeters (DMMs), wiring, soldering, or Excel.
