PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a Quality Inspector to join our team, partnering with a global leader in aerospace innovation. This is your opportunity to contribute to groundbreaking work that impacts the world today—and for generations to come.

Position Details

• Job Type: Full-time, 12-month contract

• Location: Buffalo, NY

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2nd shift (2:00 PM–10:30 PM), with potential overtime and weekends

• Starting Pay : $43.14 per hour

About the Role

As a Quality Inspector, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring the precision, reliability, and safety of aerospace systems that push the boundaries of innovation. You’ll inspect complex electronic and mechanical assemblies, verify compliance with specifications, and help maintain the highest quality standards in every component delivered.

What You’ll Do

• Perform visual and mechanical inspections of in-process and completed products, including electronic units, subsystems, and mechanical assemblies.

• Use a variety of measuring instruments and tools to ensure components meet strict quality requirements.

• Review blueprints, drawings, and inspection instructions to validate product conformity.

• Accept, reject, or rework units based on inspection results.

• Conduct line clearances and verify material segregation between production lots.

• Document inspection findings and support continuous improvement through process feedback.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• 2+ years of hands-on inspection experience in manufacturing or aerospace.

• Experience in final logistical inspection and familiarity with inspection tools and gauges.

• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.

• This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.                                               
   

Preferred Qualifications

• Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification.

• J-STD-001, IPC-610, or IPC-620 Certifications.

• Experience with soldering or electronic assembly inspection.
