Materials and Planning Analyst
Location: Medley, FL
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM | Full-Time, Onsite
Pay Rate: $38.94 per hour | 6-Month Consultant Opportunity
PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a Materials and Planning Analyst to join our team, partnering with a global leader in the aerospace industry. In this pivotal role, you’ll manage and maintain Bill of Materials (BOMs) and Material Masters to ensure production schedules align seamlessly with customer and program requirements. Your attention to detail and coordination across departments will help ensure efficient material flow and precise manufacturing execution.
Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Operations, and Program Leads to establish and maintain Manufacturing Bills of Material (MBOMs).
Maintain and monitor part master data and product structures in MRP systems throughout the product lifecycle.
Incorporate engineering changes into the MBOM and coordinate actions across teams to implement updates effectively.
Partner with Master Production Scheduling and Manufacturing Engineering teams to optimize inventory and minimize residuals.
Analyze planning functions, load data into MRP systems, and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
Review and process material master and BOM requests, ensuring accuracy, quality, and compliance with company standards.
Participate in problem-solving and resolution of data conflicts or discrepancies.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree with 2–4 years of experience in supply chain, operations, or a related field; or
Associate degree with 4 years of experience; or
6 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with SAP or other ERP/MRP systems.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Experience interpreting engineering or technical documents.
Ability to manage priorities and collaborate effectively across teams.
