PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a skilled Procurement Agent to join our team, partnering with a global leader in the aerospace industry. In this dynamic role, you’ll play a critical part in ensuring the seamless flow of materials and services that power cutting-edge aerospace innovations. Your expertise will directly impact supplier performance, production timelines, and strategic decision-making.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Perform continuous review and analysis of demand and supply to ensure alignment with production needs.
• Communicate performance expectations and metrics to suppliers, monitoring and evaluating their performance.
• Collaborate across departments to support procurement processes and supply chain strategies.
• Apply manufacturing and supplier knowledge to support emergent and routine requirements.
• Engage in strategic decision-making and problem-solving to resolve procurement challenges.
• Participate in supplier technical management activities such as design and schedule reviews.

What You Bring

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years of related experience, or Master’s degree with 4+ years, or 10+ years of equivalent experience.
• Strong business acumen and understanding of supply chain dynamics.
• Proven negotiation skills and ability to build positive relationships across teams.
• Experience in procurement processes and supplier performance evaluation.
• Ability to adapt to changing environments and manage risk effectively.
• This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.                                               
   

Preferred Qualifications:

• Deep knowledge of aerospace manufacturing and supplier capabilities.
• Familiarity with technical requirements and supplier design management.
• Experience with strategic procurement in a high-tech or aerospace setting.
