Location: Dallas, TX | Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7 AM–4 PM
Type: Full-Time, 12-Month Consultant | Starting Pay: $28-30 /hour
PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist to join our team supporting a world-class aerospace organization in Dallas, TX. In this dynamic and fast-paced role, you’ll play an essential part in ensuring materials, inventory, and logistics processes operate seamlessly to meet the demands of post-production support. Your work will directly impact operational readiness and customer satisfaction across global aerospace programs.
As a Supply Chain Specialist, you’ll coordinate critical logistics and inventory management functions to keep production and support systems running efficiently.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Forecast post-production supply chain support demand and maintain accurate inventory control of assets.
Manage and respond to customer requests and requests for quotes.
Plan material delivery and shipment activities using a work queue system to ensure timely fulfillment.
Investigate the feasibility of repair and overhaul requests and provide recommendations.
Collaborate with internal teams and external customers to ensure material availability and workflow efficiency.
Analyze supply chain data to identify potential issues, trends, or opportunities for improvement.
Maintain compliance with company procedures and export control requirements.
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage complex logistics and planning tasks.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (including VLOOKUPs and data analysis tools).
Experience in planning, inventory management, or supply chain operations.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Organized, adaptable, and willing to learn in a fast-paced environment.
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in an aerospace, manufacturing, or logistics environment.
Working knowledge of ERP or inventory management systems.
