PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a skilled Electronic Technician to join our team, partnering with a leader in the aerospace industry known for innovation and excellence. In this role, you’ll play a key part in assembling, testing, and maintaining cutting-edge electronic systems that help shape the future of aerospace technology.
As an Electronic Technician, you’ll work hands-on with sophisticated electronic components and systems that power mission-critical aerospace programs. Your typical day will include:
Assembling, installing, testing, and maintaining electronic systems and components.
Performing diagnostics and root-cause analysis on analog and digital circuits.
Conducting operational tests in environments such as ESS, vibration, thermal, and altitude.
Using precision tools including oscilloscopes, multimeters, RF generators, and spectrum analyzers.
Documenting test results, repairs, and maintenance activities with accuracy.
Ensuring all work meets design specifications, quality, and safety standards.
Required Qualifications:
High School diploma and 4 years of related experience, or completion of 2 years of technical trade school or military electronics training.
Hands-on experience troubleshooting analog and digital circuits.
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with RF systems, embedded electronics, and component-level troubleshooting.
Proficiency with test equipment such as VOM, DVM, and related diagnostic tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
