PDS Tech Commercial is seeking skilled and mechanically inclined individuals for a Machinist position. This role is ideal for candidates with strong blueprint reading skills, mechanical knowledge, and a commitment to quality and safety in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
About the Role
As a Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC mills and lathes, performing inspections, and maintaining production goals. You’ll contribute to the manufacturing of high-quality components while ensuring compliance with work instructions and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes
- Perform first-piece inspections and maintain quality throughout production
- Follow job work instructions and quality procedures
- Deburr parts and meet daily production goals
- Edit G-code programs as needed
- Track and run jobs in order of precedence
- Maintain a clean and organized work area using 5S principles
- Attend and participate in daily tier meetings
- Log job information using SAP
- High school diploma or equivalent (valued)
- 1–2 years of CNC experience preferred
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Proficiency with measuring tools (calipers, OD mics, height gauges, depth mics, steel rulers)
- Basic computer skills
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

- Pay Rate: $24.00/hr
- Shift: 2nd Shift, 3:15 PM – 1:15 AM
- Subco Bonus Program: Up to $3,000
- $1,000 at 14 days with perfect attendance
- $1,000 at 60 days
- $1,000 at 90 days

Pay Details: $24.00 per hour
