Summary:
Calibrate and certify a variety of measurement and test equipment while supporting the development of test procedures.
Work with diverse metrology parameters, including precision dimensional and optical, mass, temperature/humidity, pressure, flow, and force.
Support both military and commercial programs such as 777X, 737MAX, 787, P-8, Tanker, and others.
Deliver products and services that meet the highest technical and quality standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies, embracing first-time quality.
Plan, conduct, and document tests on measurement and test equipment
Coordinate test requirements and determine methods and capabilities
Analyze test data and maintain documentation
Revise and update test procedures
Troubleshoot and resolve laboratory and test-related issues
Work under general direction
Requirements:
AA degree in a related discipline and 1+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
3+ years of calibration and certification experience, or equivalent education/experience
Experience with flow, pressure, linear measurements, temperature/humidity, electrical, or other physical metrology processes
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
Preferred Skills:
Electrical calibration/certification experience
Certified Calibration Technician (CCT)
Aerospace industry experience
PMEL (Precision Measurement Equipment Laboratory) experience
Experience with LabVIEW, C++, Access
Experience writing and configuring automated software and hardware tests
