Job Type: Full-Time; 9-Month Consultant Assignment
Starting Pay Rate: $26.00 per hour
PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a Metrology & Calibration Specialist to join our team, partnering with a leading aerospace innovator. In this vital role, you’ll ensure the accuracy and reliability of precision measurement and test equipment supporting some of the world’s most advanced aircraft programs. Your expertise will help uphold the highest technical and quality standards across commercial and defense projects.
Plan, conduct, and document calibration and certification tests on a wide range of measurement and test equipment.
Coordinate test requirements and determine appropriate test methods and capabilities.
Analyze data and maintain up-to-date test documentation and procedure revisions.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to laboratory equipment or test processes.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to ensure first-time quality across all work.
Required Qualifications:
3+ years of calibration and certification experience or equivalent education/experience.
Experience with one or more of the following: flow, pressure, linear measurements, temperature/humidity, electrical, or other physical metrology processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
Electrical calibration and certification experience.
Certified Calibration Technician (CCT) certification.
Experience in the aerospace industry.
PMEL (Precision Measurement Equipment Laboratory) background.
Experience using LabVIEW, C++, or Access.
Experience developing and configuring automated software and hardware test systems.
AA degree in a related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
