PDS Tech Commercial is hiring Assembly Mechanics to support hands-on mechanical operations in a dynamic production environment. This role is ideal for individuals with mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality and safety.
About the Role
As an Assembly Mechanic, you will be responsible for constructing, maintaining, and testing mechanical equipment and components. You’ll identify parts for replacement, ensure proper functionality of machinery, and contribute to the smooth operation of production processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble mechanical components to meet product specifications and quality standards
- Perform routine maintenance and testing of machinery and equipment
- Identify worn or malfunctioning parts and place orders for replacements
- Follow pre-established guidelines and report to a supervisor or manager
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Operate powered industrial trucks as needed
- Adhere to safety protocols and report any exposure risks
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 0–2 years of experience in mechanical assembly or a related field
- Familiarity with standard mechanical practices and procedures
- Ability to follow instructions and work under immediate supervision
- Capable of lifting up to 30 lbs and performing repetitive tasks
- Comfortable with moderate exposure to machinery, chemicals, and physical risks

- Pay Rate: $20.50/hr
- Subco Bonus Program: Up to $3,000
- $1,000 at 14 days with perfect attendance
- $1,000 at 60 days
- $1,000 at 90 days

Pay Details: $20.50 per hour
