PDS Tech Commercial is seeking an experienced Aeronautical Engineer to join our team, partnering with a global leader in aerospace technology. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge systems that shape the future of aviation and defense. As part of a highly skilled engineering team, you’ll perform analysis, design, and testing for complex materials, structures, and functional systems that define the next generation of aerospace performance.

What You’ll Do

• Perform analysis, design, and testing of complex materials, structural components, and functional systems.

• Apply engineering principles and mathematical methods to define and solve technical problems.

• Develop, refine, and release design data after review and validation.

• Conduct detailed studies to adapt and enhance existing designs for improved performance and manufacturability.

• Utilize advanced structural and design tools, including Siemens NX, to execute and validate designs.

• Plan and manage test programs to evaluate structural and system designs.

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure technical excellence and on-time project execution.

• Engage with senior technical personnel and customers on significant design and integration matters.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with 5+ years of related experience, or a Master’s degree with 3+ years of experience.

• Proven experience in mechanical design, structural analysis, and tolerance analysis.

• Proficiency with Siemens NX and GD&T principles.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a commitment to precision and quality.
  
  This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.                                               
  
   

Preferred Qualifications

• Must be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance.

• Experience in integration and hardware assembly builds.

• Background in developing and managing test programs for aerospace systems.
