Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Sr Production Scheduler with strong real-world experience in SAP and materials management to support production planning and inventory control within a leading aerospace manufacturing environment. This role is critical to ensuring materials are available to meet production schedules while maintaining optimal inventory levels.
You’ll lead and support cross-functional teams, resolve material-related issues, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Lead team efforts to meet performance metrics and production goals

• Execute and monitor materials operations, ensuring alignment with planning and inventory control procedures

• Release production orders and maintain execution schedules

• Identify and escalate supply gaps for critical products

• Coordinate with purchasing, engineering, operations, and quality teams to resolve material issues

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental procedures

• Apply Operating System principles and support process improvements

• Analyze inventory data and apply solutions to optimize material flow

• Support project teams and contribute to strategic planning initiatives

 
Required Qualifications

• 1+ years of planning experience in a manufacturing environment

• Strong SAP experience in materials planning and inventory control

• Effective communication and problem-solving skills

• Experience pulling and analyzing data to support planning decisions

 
Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field

• In-depth experience with MRP/ERP systems

• Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies

• Experience in project management and cross-functional collaboration

• Background in materials management within aerospace or similar industries
