Contract: 12 Months | Consultant Role
Starting Pay Range: $33.28 per hour
Flexibility: On-call weekend/evening support required based on business needs
PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a global aerospace leader to hire a Procurement Agent who will play a vital role in supporting the Seats / In-Flight Entertainment team at Boeing Commercial Airplanes. In this dynamic role, you’ll help ensure aircraft delivery targets are met by managing supplier performance, coordinating logistics, and maintaining the seamless flow of materials and information across a global supply chain.
Your work directly impacts the timely delivery and quality of aircraft interiors — ensuring passengers experience comfort and innovation at 30,000 feet.
As a Procurement Agent, you’ll serve as the bridge between Boeing and its suppliers—managing operations, solving challenges, and driving excellence across the supply chain. Key responsibilities include:
Applying Supply Chain Management methodologies to coordinate activities in a global supply base.
Tracking and managing seat production schedules to meet key airplane milestones.
Placing and managing purchase orders in SAP/ERP systems while ensuring compliance and accuracy.
Reporting metrics and performance updates to Seats and Airplane Program leadership.
Collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to monitor and resolve KPI performance issues.
Gathering and analyzing data to produce insightful performance reports.
Proactively identifying risks, driving process improvements, and contributing to best practices across operations.
Required Qualifications:
1+ year of experience with ERP systems (such as SAP).
1+ year of experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).
1+ year of experience supporting Operations, Materials Management, or Supply Chain functions in a production environment.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including on-call support after hours or weekends.
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Preferred Qualifications:
3+ years of related experience or equivalent education and experience.
Experience interfacing with leadership and external suppliers.
Proven success in process improvement and problem-solving under pressure.
Strong decision-making skills when working with incomplete information.
Education:
Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience (Master’s +1 year, or 7 years of experience).
