About the Role

As an HR Payroll Specialist, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for a leading aerospace company. Your expertise will directly impact employee satisfaction and operational efficiency. This is a full-time, consultant position with the potential for full-time employment after 90 days—a chance to take off into a long-term career with a global industry leader.

• Location: Wichita, KS
• Schedule: Monday to Friday; flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Pay Rate: $30.24/hour
• Duration: 4-month contract with potential for FTE conversion

What You’ll Be Doing

• Process regular, off-cycle, and adjustment payrolls with precision
• Manage withholdings, reconciliations, imputed income, and internal controls
• Execute quarter-end and year-end payroll tasks and reporting
• Ensure compliance with payroll laws and regulations
• Deliver exceptional customer service to internal stakeholders
• Collaborate effectively within a team-oriented environment
• Adapt to evolving processes and systems with agility
• Apply analytical thinking to resolve payroll-related issues

What You Bring

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3–7 years of payroll processing experience
• Strong knowledge of payroll best practices and regulations
• Exceptional attention to detail and communication skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• Experience with Dayforce or similar payroll platforms
• Familiarity with SAP
