Location: Carroll, IA | Type: Full-Time, 12-Month Consultant
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2nd Shift (2:00 PM–10:00 PM) or 3rd Shift (10:00 PM–6:00 AM)
Pay Rate: 2nd Shift – $19.50/hr | 3rd Shift – $20.00/hr
PDS Tech Commercial is seeking Machine Operators to join our team, partnering with a leading innovator in the aerospace industry. As a Machine Operator, you’ll receive on-the-job training to master key production skills while working alongside experienced technicians and engineers. In this role, you will:
Learn to set up and operate machinery according to established standards.
Develop the ability to adjust machines and monitor performance.
Learn to read and interpret blueprints and specifications for precision work.
Perform quality inspections using gauges and measurement tools.
Accurately document manufacturing activities and transactions.
Follow all Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) and quality procedures.
Participate in Continuous Improvement and safety initiatives.
Work occasional overtime or holiday hours as business needs require.
You’ll work under the guidance of certified operators, with a goal to achieve certification within 120 days.
Required Qualifications:
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Willingness to train and learn new skills in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to follow directions and work under supervision.
Commitment to safety, precision, and teamwork.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in a manufacturing or production setting.
Basic understanding of measurement tools or mechanical processes.
