Chipton-Ross is seeking a ServiceNow Developer for a remote contract opportunity.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE): •2+ years of experience in software development, with a strong background in programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, or Java.
•2+ years of experience with ServiceNow configuration, customization, and development.
•Strong understanding of ServiceNow ITSM processes, including incident, problem, change, and service request management.
•Excellent technical skills, including: ServiceNow scripting (e.g., Business Rules, Client Scripts), ServiceNow configuration (e.g., tables, fields, forms) API design and development, Data integration and import/export.
•Experience with Agile development methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git)
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: •Assist in the design, development, and testing of software solutions to support ITSM processes, including incident, problem, change, and service request management •Assist in configuring and customizing ServiceNow to support ITSM processes, including creating custom tables, fields, and forms •Develop and maintain scripts, workflows, and business rules to support ITSM process automation and data processing under the guidance of senior engineers •Assist in integrating ServiceNow with other systems and tools, including APIs, web services, and data imports •Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with ServiceNow and ITSM software solutions with the guidance of senior engineers •Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and design software solutions that meet business needs •Develop and maintain technical documentation for software solutions, including design documents, test plans, and implementation guides •Stay up-to-date with new features and best practices in ServiceNow and ITSM software development
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE): •ServiceNow certifications (Developer, Administrator, or ITSM) Experience with cloud-based technologies and SaaS platforms Knowledge of ITSM industry trends and best practices Experience with testing and validation frameworks •Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines •Strong understanding of data security and compliance requirements •Experience with ServiceNow Now Assis
