Contract Type: Full-Time, 12-Month Consultant
Starting Pay Rate: $38.58 per hour
PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a Support Engineering Data Specialist to partner with a global aerospace leader. In this vital role, you’ll bridge engineering, quality, and program teams to ensure the accuracy, clarity, and reliability of technical data that supports cutting-edge aerospace systems. Your analytical mindset and eye for precision will directly impact how teams build, maintain, and operate complex aircraft systems around the world.
Assist in developing and maintaining technical publication elements for various maintenance levels of fielded equipment and subsystems.
Collect, research, and analyze engineering source data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Support the definition of project scope and deliverables through technical requirement analysis.
Collaborate with engineering, quality, and program teams to confirm procedures and align technical content.
Participate in document reviews, formatting, editing, and quality assurance checks to ensure consistency and compliance.
Provide documentation support during design reviews, certification, product delivery, and customer support transitions.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in aircraft operations, maintenance, or training related to aircraft systems.
Experience analyzing or researching engineering drawings and familiarity with technical publications.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage complex technical documentation.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities across technical teams.
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Aerospace, or a related technical field.
Typically 6+ years of relevant experience (or an equivalent combination of education and technical experience).
Experience working with cross-functional teams in support of documentation for aerospace systems.
Familiarity with digital documentation tools, data management systems, or structured content development.
