PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a Project Management Specialist to partner with a leader in the aerospace industry. In this dynamic role, you’ll help shape the future of engineering excellence by supporting critical workforce planning, resource management, and process improvement initiatives within the Space, Intelligence, and Weapon Systems (SIWS) organization.

Location: St. Charles, MO 63301
Schedule: Monday to Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM | First Shift
Assignment: 12-Month Contract | Full-Time

Empower Engineering Excellence

This role plays a key part in enabling world-class engineering through data-driven insights, process optimization, and workforce strategy. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams — including Engineering, HR, Finance, and Legal — to ensure that processes, analytics, and tools support organizational goals. While this position works closely with engineers and senior leaders, it focuses on process facilitation, analytics, and strategic decision support, not on technical engineering.

What You’ll Do

• Facilitate workforce staffing and resource planning processes across the engineering organization.

• Collect, analyze, and streamline complex data sets to drive insights and recommendations.

• Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track performance and identify opportunities for improvement.

• Create dashboards, visualizations, and reports using Microsoft Excel and Power BI to enable data-driven decision-making.

• Partner with engineering leaders and cross-functional teams to improve staffing tools, engagement resources, and communication workflows.

• Support process improvement initiatives that enhance productivity, efficiency, and alignment across teams.

• Contribute to a culture of collaboration, engagement, and continuous learning.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.

• 5+ years of experience working independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

• Proven experience facilitating staffing, resource planning, or workforce processes in a technical or engineering organization.

• Strong data analysis and automation skills, with the ability to interpret and present insights clearly.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI, including Power Query.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across all organizational levels.
  
  This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.                                               
   

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of project management experience, ideally supporting technology or engineering programs.

• Experience with financial analytics, budgeting, or financial data interpretation.

• Familiarity with Tableau, SQL, or Python for advanced data visualization or automation.

• Proven ability to lead process improvement and change management initiatives.

• Strong attention to detail, organization, and adaptability in fast-paced environments.

• Comfortable presenting to senior and executive leadership.

• A positive, professional, and proactive approach to challenges.
